The 9/10 All Star team is a sanctioned Little League All Star team that will complete in the District 5 9/10 All Star tournament. The winner of the District 5 tournament will complete in the BC Provincial tournament. The head coach for the 9/10s team is Neil McEachern. Assistant coaches and team manager will be chosen after the team is selected.

Player Tryouts
We will be having tryouts for the kids on Friday May 29 from 6.00pm to ~8.00pm. Please bring your full baseball equipment and be ready to start at 6.00pm sharp.

Playing on a post season team is a great reward and honour for the kids who have put in a lots of time and effort during the season, but it does come with some requirements. All kids selected to the team must commit to attending every game unless there is an injury or illness. All kids must be available for the District tournament (June 13-27th North Vancouver) and the Provincials (July 11-18 in Vancouver). All kids will be expected to attend practices over the next few weeks and between the district and provincial tournament if the teams qualifies for the provincials.
All parents will be asked to attend the first 15-30 minutes of the tryout as the coaches and members of the MSLL Executive will provide an overview of what to expect if your child is selected for the 9/10s All Star team.
Eligible Players
Players who wish to tryout out for the 9/10 All Stars team must be:
- baseball age 10 (May 1st 2004 – Apr 30th 2005) or baseball age 9 (May 1st 2005 – Dec 31st 2006)
- have played either Majors, AAA or AA this season
- have participated in a minimum of 60% of their Spring season games
- parents must be willing to sign the MSLL Post Season Protocol agreeing to post season expectations
