MSLL is requesting applications to coach the MSLL post-season All-Star and tournament teams. We will be appointing a Manager (head coach) for the following teams:
- Seniors All Stars (July 6-11, Inter-River)
- Juniors All Stars (July 10-19, Whalley)
- Majors All Stars (Districts Jun 27-Jul 11, Provincials Jul 17-26th South Van)
- 11s Tournament Team (Jun 19-21 Eldon, 2-3 other tournaments TBD)
- 9/10 All Stars (Districts Jun 13-28th, Provincials Jul 11-18th Jericho)
- 9 Select “All Stars” (Jun 26th-Jul 1st Lynn Valley)
- Super 8s (Jun 20-22nd North Van)

To apply you must:
- be an MSLL head coach or assistant coach who has attended at least 60% of regular season games in 2015
- complete the MSLL post season application form https://www.surveymonkey.
com/s/XLYYZ5B - submit your application no later than Thurs 21st May
- be prepared to make the time/travel commitments as outlined below
Important Points to Consider
- it’s critically important that you be familiar with tournament rules, as they differ from regular season rules
- the Majors All Star team could play into late August in the Little League World Series in Williamsport, PA. The provincials are in South Vancouver.
- the 11s tournament team Manager will have to plan for and enter tournaments and exhibition games as there is no formal schedule for 11’s
- the 9/10s All Stars Manager will enter the team in the Districts and must be available to take the team to the Provincials
- the Juniors All Stars Manager will enter the team in the Provincials and must be available to take the team to the Canadians/Worlds
- the 9s Select “All Stars” team Manager will enter a team in the Lynn Valley Little League tournament around the July 1stholiday, as well as other tournaments the team wishes to enter
- the Super 8s (Rookie Senior) team manager will enter a team in the North Vancouver Central tournament Jun 20–22nd
- all teams will be given the opportunity to enter other tournaments
Selection Process
- post season manager for each team will be voted on by the MSLL Executive
- any executive members who are applying to coach a team are not allowed to participate in the voting process for that team
- MSLL Executive will solicit feedback from coaches in your current division
- the selected manager will be responsible for selecting their assistant coaches in collaboration with the MSLL Executive
- all players must earn their place on a team via tryouts – they are not guaranteed a place on a team due to a parent coaching
