Mount Seymour Little League (MSLL) today announced a new Myrtle Park Parking Policy (MPPP) for the upcoming baseball season. Our league has seen enormous growth over the past few years, with registration exceeding 600 players again this year. During that same time, Deep Cove has become ever more popular as a tourist destination, leading to large numbers of visitors being directed to Myrtle Park for overflow parking.
The result of this has been an ever increasing park issue at Myrtle Park – and one that requires a creative solution. The MSLL Executive Committee is considering building a multi-level parking garage as a long term solution, but for this season voted to implement a short term fix.
The MSLL-MPPP is quite simple to implement and shares the limited parking resources fairly among all car owners. Parking at Myrtle will be restricted on each day of the week to only cars of a specific colour.

To access the park on days that don’t match your car colour, please walk, bike or take public transport. Another option is to get together with your friends and organize a “colour car pool” to cover all games.
